This modern art timeline prints well as an A3 or A4 display for classrooms, beginning in 1806 with Post-Impressionism and finishing with Installation art of the 1990's onwards. Each sheet has a clear title, date, big image and a selection of Artist names. There are 19 individual posters in total. I have this printed as A3 posters and laminated for a big, clear and colourful display around the top of my classroom to use as a teaching aid in lessons and a source of inspiration for my students.

This is specifically for Art students but could be easily transferred for use with other subjects that are heavily coursework based such as Design Technology. This could be used as a handout at parents evenings with students who are falling behind or struggling with the A level course (Year 12 & 13). This pack was used originally for an after school support session with a small group of students but has since been incorporated into our A level Art handbook that is published for students at the start of each academic year.
